The Rains Gods have finally smiled on Delhi....and DBF adds to the thunder with a unique walk in the realms of one of the oldest villages of the world, Mehrauli....exploring it's history of the last 1000 years, replete with forgotten heritage sites, ruins of people gone by, the cultural society of the bygone era, interspersed with literary references to Rains!
Mehrauli located on the Aravallis, has been a darling of not just the Mughals but for centuries before the Rajputs and even after, during the British...where layer after layer of our people's humanism, our hopes, emotions, rage and a fragile yet healthy blanket of culture and traditions of spirituality have reasserted themselves at every step...
Join our storytellers amongst the lush forests that dot the highlands of Mehrauli, once upon a time the "Summer & Monsoon Retreat" of countless Queens & Kings...and their people,... all of whose legacies linger for posterity here, and so does the cultural efflorescence of the last 1000 years!
So join us on Sunday morning at Mehrauli Archaeological Park for a historical walk whose stories are strung on verses of poetry and are as ethereal as the momentary rain-drops on the tree leaves!
Explore a Mughal tomb a British haveli or two; this land of brave Sikh generals and a few Lodhi-era Tombs & Baoli...and all the while we walk through love, melancholia, longing and the desire evoked in Saawan.... in the times gone by, through poetry!!

Refund Policy
DBF Modification/Cancellation Policy:
1. Tickets are transferable. Modify bookings via email to explore@delhibyfoot with booking Ref. No.
2. Cancel via above Email ID or WhatsApp +91 98100 11955:
a. Less than 24 hours from event start: Zero Refunds.
b. More than 24 hours from event start: Rs 200/- per person is cancellation fee; rest refunded to your UPI/Bank account OR kept as credit for future walks with DBF/TBT within 90 days.
3. Force Majeure: Events proceed despite variations in weather unless there's an "Act of God" (sudden flood, political unrest, riots etc). If our event happens, and if you wish to not join, then 50% is kept as credit for future walks with DBF/TBT within 90 days, if and only if, you have informed us about your absence.
4. If DBF cancels/postpones the event, and you can't attend on new date, or can't attend any other walk also, then 100% refund of walk fees.
